Solid Waste Management in urban Ghana:insights from Wa municipality

A sustainable environment, is a future home for the unborn generations of 'mother earth'. In due congnisance, this manuscript has clearly outlined the gaps in knowlegde in the management of solid waste by pointing to the loopholes with practical illustrations alongside detailed and incising field images and data. Though with a small coverage, the findings of the author are significant in adding strength to environmental policy making and implementation at the local/grassroot level.

With a passion for sustainable environmental management, this manuscript is part of an unfolding journey through the course of contributing to sustainable urban-space management in Ghana. Future studies in this domain will undoubtedly form the core of my research with a much more broader outlook into other areas of urban environmerntal management.
